This is being sent to all Region and Chapter Presidents and Chapter Corporate POCs:
Dear Chapter Leaders:
I am pleased to announce that starting January 1, 2018, we will be changing our industry membership categories in an effort to update, simplify and customize options for businesses and organizations of all sizes. Tomorrow a similar message will go to the Company POCs (tailored to their designee size), and later this week a letter will go out in the mail. More details will be provided at the Annual Meeting.
The Corporate Members will become “Community Partners” of the Association of the United States Army under this new program (replacing the corporate member program). This is intended to reduce the confusion on a company about their membership. They’re either a National Partner (was “Sustaining Member”), or a Community Partner (was “Corporate Member”). The National Partners will be allowed to affiliate with up to 3 Chapters per National Partner membership, as Community Partners of those chapters. This should help your chapters to build rapport with those large companies in your footprint.
One of the many benefits for 10 Designee companies that they will now be listed in our Industry Guide, and will receive discounts on registration and space at events in the United States. The five designee companies will be listed in the Industry Guide. The two designee companies will receive discounts in the AUSA Store and on Advertising.
